Chocolate Mousse Recipe

Chocolate mousse is a creamy, delicious chocolate and egg confection that's relatively simple to make, it is basically a combination of chocolate, eggs, sugar, and cream. Almost everyone love chocolate mousse and the secret to making good chocolate mousse rests in the quality of the chocolate you use.





The quality of the chocolate you use is especially important. For best results, it is recommended that you buy dark chocolate with at least 70 per cent cocoa solids. Chocolate mousse is the perfect dessert for a dinner party. If you plan to prepare chocolate mousse for your guests, make sure you prepare it in advance in one or two hours.

Instructions:


1. In a sauce pan, add in 1 1/4 cups heavy cream and sprinkle the gelatin over it.


2. Let it set for at 5 minutes then add in the white chocolate.


3. Switch to low heat and cook everything while stirring constantly until everything is melted and the mixture is smooth.


4. Transfer everything to a large bowl then let it chill for 10 minutes first. After that, continue to stir occasionally.


5. Get another bowl and add in 1 cup of cream and the vanilla extract. Combine and mix well then beat until stiff peaks form. Set aside for now.


6. In another small bowl, add in the white eggs and salt. Combine and mix well then beat until soft peaks form. After that, add in the sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.


7. Now, fold in the whipped cream and egg whites in chocolate.


8. Let it chill for at least several hours before stirring in the chopped chocolate. Serve and enjoy!
