Chocolate Mousse Cake Recipe

Making chocolate mousse cake is a fairly simple process if you know how. To ensure that your cake will taste good, make sure that you beat the egg whites until frothy. Below is a simple recipe to help you make this delicious chocolate dessert.





Ingredients:


  • 6 eggs, separated
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 12 oz chocolate chips
  • 2 oz lady fingers
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

Instructions:


1. In a mixing bowl, add in the egg whites then beat until frothy. After that, add sugar and beat again until stiff.


2. In a double boiler, add in the chocolate chips and melt them.


3. Add in the egg yolks and vanilla. Mix well.


4. Now fold in the rest of the egg whites then whip the cream and fold it into the mixture.


5. Grease a 9 inch springform pan then arrange lady fingers in a line so that they stand up around the edge of the pan.


6. You can place the remaining on the bottom. After that, pour the chocolate mixture into the lady finger-lined pan.


7. Refrigerate overnight before serving.
